HBA-1 REPRESENTATIVES


There are many opportunities for students in their first year at Ivey [HBA-1] to become involved. Some of these opportunities include the numerous HBA1 positions on the HBAA. HBA-1 representatives are responsible for organizing and running events in their own section, as well as providing support for Coordinators and VPs while planning, promoting and executing HBAA Programming. Each section has the following positions:

President

- Responsible for ensuring all section representatives are upholding their duties.
- Acts as a liaison between faculty and students

Social Representative

- Responsible for organizing social events for their section.
- Responsible for assisting the VP-Student Affairs in running HBAA formals and other social events.

Philanthropic Representative

- Responsible for organizing philanthropic opportunities for their section.
- Responsible for assisting the Ivey Connects Director in running events and initiatives.

Sports Representative

- Responsible for organizing sporting events for their section.
- Responsible for assisting the Sports Coordinator in running HBAA sporting events.

Career Management Representative

- Responsible for assisting the Career Management department in the communication of workshops and information sessions.

Ivey Cup representative

- Responsible for assisting the Ivey Cup Coordinators in communicating and running Ivey's largest internal competition - the Ivey Cup.

Merchandising Representative

- Responsible for organizing the production of section merchandise for purchase by members of the section.
- Responsible for assisting the Merchandising Coordinator in sales and distribution of HBA student business cards.
