EXECUTIVE
President
The President's role is to make sure that every HBA student gets the most out of their two years at Ivey. More specifically the President is responsible for ensuring all members of the HBAA are completing their duties. Directly within the portfolio of the President are the CRO, ICOA and Secretary. These positions ensure the operations of the HBAA are effective and accountable to students. These positions also run the HBAA meetings with assistance from the President. As well the President is responsible for growing the HBAA and pushing it to new levels every year. Finally the President acts as the voice of the students through communicating with administration, faculty, the program directors and the Dean.
VP Finance
The Vice-President Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the HBAA. From preparing financial statements to ensuring that each event and program run within budget, the VP Finance ensures that the HBA students receive the maximum benefit for their contribution to the HBAA. Directly within the portfolio of the VP Finance are the Coporate Relations, Alumni Relations, Merchandise, and Class Gift Coordinators. Additionally, the VP Finance works closely with the Financial Accountability Commitee to ensure ethical management of funds throughout the HBAA.
VP Student Affairs
The Vice-President Student Affairs is responsible for organizing HBAA events that are social or athletic in nature. Major Student Affairs events include the HBA Semi-Formal & Formal, Ski Trip, Intramurals, and Ivey Cup events. The VP Student Affairs portfolio includes the Ivey Cup, Sports, Golf, and Social Coordinators. Additionally, the VP Finance works closely with HBA-1 Social Reps to ensure that both HBA-1s and HBA-2s have access to social and athletic events.
VP Academic
The Vice-President Academic is responsible for organizing HBAA programming that is Academic or Career related. The VP Academic acts as a liaison betwen the HBAA, Faculty, and Administration as related to academic and career matters. The VP Academic works closely with the Academic Program Director, as well as Career Management. The VP Academic's portfolio includes the Career Management, Exchange, Clubs, Conference, and Concurrent Coordinators.
VP University Affairs
The Vice-President University Affairs is responsible for matters between the HBAA, the USC and the community at large. The VP University Affairs acts as a business representative [councillor] on the USC. Additionally, the VP University Affairs is responsible for organizing many philanthropic initiatives for the HBAA. The VP University Affairs' portfolio includes Philanthropy and Ivey Connects.
VP Communications
The Vice-President Communications is responsible for all communications of the HBAA. The VP Communications is responsible for promoting HBAA events, communicating major HBAA matters to the HBA student body, administration and facutly. Additonally, the VP Communications ensures that all HBAA branding and marketing is compliant with Ivey regulations. The VP Communications portfolio includes Yearbook, Newsletter, Website, Grad Photos, and Recruiting & Marketing Team Coordinators.
